Last night I caught up with my brother Mark, niece Issy and nephew Archer one more time. Now, with my Melbourne mission completed, we have gotten under way to make use of the favourable N'ly breeze. We would have gotten away earlier, however the breeze was blowing fresh from the north all day and had us pinned to the pier so we had to wait until this evening for the breeze to ease to allow us to be able to push off the pier and motor clear.
Now we are out in the bay, running before a gentle breeze with the intention of passing through Port Phillip Heads at slack water around 0330. Once clear of the Heads we will turn our bows east to continue heading for Townsville.
All is well.
