Kate and I have been putting in some long hours to get Sylph back in shape. There have been a number of areas of wasted metal to cut out and replace and also it has taken lots of work to remove the old antifouling paint that has built up over the years. But now we are getting close to being ready to apply some fresh antifouling and return to the water. Unfortunately, we have a couple of days of rain ahead of us so this will not be until Monday. Not to worry, the Tamar River Yacht Club slipway is not a bad place to be stuck for a while.
