After a pleasant break in Stansbury, the highlight of which was a visit to the local museum, we got underway this morning at the civilised hour of 1030. The wind was light so we motor sailed out of Oyster Bay and once around South Spit came on to the wind, set the genoa and shut down the BRM.
Thus far it has been an uneventful crossing of the Gulf of St Vincent. We crossed paths with three Squadron yachts heading in the opposite direction, apparently for Stansbury, and have just sailed past four large ships at anchor in the roadstead off Outer Harbor.
Our ETA back at the Squadron is 1830. With a little luck we might be back in time for the Squadron quarterly meeting.
All is well.
