I enjoyed a relatively productive and social time in Rosslyn Bay. As well as meeting a nice bunch of fellow yachties at the Capricornia Cruising Yacht Club, I made a new friend which is always nice. I got a little study done (though not enough), and lots of the domestic chores out of the way, especially a big load of laundry. The water tanks are full, and the provision lockers are overflowing.

The sun is shining, and we have a nice breeze on the beam. There is a bit of a short swell running which is making Sylph’s motion a little jerky, but, as we get further north and in behind the Reef, this will diminish.

Next stop is Middle Percy Island, about one hundred miles away. I expect to be there tomorrow morning. Middle Percy is a bit of a shrine to cruising yachties. It has a large A frame shelter on the beach that houses much memorabilia from passing yachts. It would be sacrilege not to stop and make some sort of offering to Poseidon.

All is well.
