Over the last several days our heading has been biased to the north due to the wind direction. The wind has been too far in the north for us to run square, wing on wing, for the past few days, so we have been broad reaching, slightly to starboard of our desired heading for Hilo because to sail our desired course causes the headsail to be blanketted by the mainsail. Now that it turns out that most likely we must head for Honolulu, being north of our proper course is probably a good thing,

Meanwhile the wind has veered into the east such that I have been able to pole out the headsail, and still we make for Honolulu. Looks like that is where we are meant to be. ETA late 23 February, depending, of course, upon the weather.

All is well.
