This morning some young sailing friends, Chris and Sam, joined us for a sail to try out a spinnaker. The spinnaker came from Chris’s boat, Kaleula. I have been wanting to get a spinnaker for Sylph for a long time now but wasn’t sure what size to get nor how well it would work. So, I was very grateful to Chris for the loan of his spinnaker and his and Sam’s assistance in taking it for test sail. It turned out that it was relatively simple to set and use and the size of Chris’s spinnaker was just about perfect, so now I feel a lot more confident about purchasing one for Sylph.

Thank you Chris and Sam.
