Weather: wet and windy

The last two days have been wet and windy so not a lot of maintenance has been getting done. When the weather has been fair my main project has been replacing the teak handrails on the top of the coach house. The old ones are so weathered that they are extremely thin and there is a good chance they would break if I was to put a large load on them, in heavy weather for instance which is when you need them.
I have purchased some new ones which are a little shorter than the originals but certainly long enough to provide plenty of grab points while traversing the side decks. I have completed replacing the port side rails and in between showers have started removing the starboard rails. Hopefully we will have some dry weather coming up so I can finish installing them within the next week or so.
All is well
