Position: At anchor off San Julian
Wind: Northwest, F3/4 gentle to moderate breeze.
Weather: Overcast, mild

At last the wind has eased enough to make rowing ashore a less than suicidal venture. It was still blowing fairly fresh this morning but a lot less than it had been. I have since checked in with the Prefectura, a much more sensible experience then my departure form Puerto Deseado, and looked around town a bit. It is a small town, but has three superamarkets so topping up supplies should be no problem. Unfortunately my timing was bad and by the time I had finished up at the Prefecturas office everything was shut for the afternoon siesta.

Conditions are favourable fo heading south but now that we are securely at anchor I am going to have a break, do a little maintenance and wait for the next weather window before pushing on.

All is well.

Bob Cat;

Sounds like a good plan to me. I am all for having a bit of a rest . . . Zzzzzzzz.
