I got up with the alarm at 0600, flashed up the engine, slipped the mooring, and as we motored clear of the shallows of Edithburgh, raised the main and unfurled the jib to the light SE’ly breeze with the sun's golden hemisphere rising above the sea's blue edge. Now the wind has steadied from the SSE and we are making good a comfortable five knots so we should arrive back at the Yacht Squadron around 1500.

All is well.
