At anchor Caleta Tilley, Isla Carlos III
Wind: northwest F3-4 gentle to moderate breeze
Weather: rain, snow, sun, cold.

After a very enjoyable evening socialising with the crew of Persimmon last night, and on examination of the weather fax this morning we agreed to stay the day in Bahia Tilley. Sylph and Persimmon are alongside one another so it has been very nice to have been able to enjoy a bit of company.

We have both used the day to top up water tanks from a nearby stream, in my case 60 litres had the tanks full, for Ian with his three young crew he needed 300 litres, but the job was still done quickly with a relay team ferrying water containers to his boat. I am looking forward to another social evening, but perhaps an earlier night so as to be ready for an early departure tomorrow morning to make good use of the tide.

All is well.

Bob Cat:

But what about me? Left all by myself for hours on end in this cold boat without the heater going. It is going now thank goodness, time for a … zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
