On Wednesday, we sailed back to Breakwater Marina in Townsville in order to watch a game of footy that my two nieces, Kaylah and Ella, were playing in.  It was a close match with a few fingernail biting moments. Their opponents, the Bulldogs, fought hard for the whole game but in the end, much to my relief, the Tigers carried the day. Both Kaylah and Ella played well, especially Ella who is only 15 years old but due to her ability had special dispensation to play with the adults for four games. Today was her last game with the adult team for the season and I was pleased to be there for it.

Later today, brother John and his partner, Cathy, arrive in town for the weekend so it will be a busy time socialising. Kate and I are looking forward to catching up with them.

All is well.
