We sure are making hard work of this sailing stuff, light winds continue to
prevail, but the sun is shining and there is enough wind for the wind vane
to steer, which allows us all to do other things than be tied to the wheel.
The spare jib which is a cut down older jib salvaged from an earlier blow is
working well, hopefully we will be able to keep it intact for the remainder
of this voyage. Our next stop is Corner Brook on the southwest coast of
Newfoundland which we expect to make sometime tomorrow. From here Max will
be on his way returning to the thriving metropolis Annapolis to resume
dedicated studies in pursuit of enlightenment and happiness, leaving Erin
and I with the task of getting Sylph back to more temperate realms.
