We slipped the mooring at 0845, sailing away from Low Isles around to their east then south in a light south-westerly breeze.  Now the wind has freshened and backed into the south-east and we punch into a short sea with a reef in the main. The plan, as always, remains fluid. We are aiming for Fitzroy Island but will see what happens. Other options are Yorkeys Knob and a cold beer (or a cider in my case), Cairns (not likely), or Mission Bay (maybe).

The wind continues to freshen but is forecast to ease this evening.

All is well.
