The rally continues

We head out around some islands and the rally boats meet up to do a beach clean.  This has been organised by the Sustainability Manager of the five star Six Senses resort.  The clean up isn’t even on their island so well done them to organise this.  We grab children from a local school who will hopefully pass the no littering message onto their parents.  They are not very good at working but after beating them with sticks they improve somewhat.

A bit more pottering about and then it is off to the very north of Phuket island some of the very biggest superyachts hang out. The local boatyard has organised a day for us with free food, cocktails, batik and much more.  It is Cat’s birthday so she has baked three cakes; fellow rally member Frank had his birthday the day before so he jumps on the bandwagon.  And why not.

A big party is organised at the marina by Seven Star who ship yachts all over the world.  And then we are back to Boat Lagoon where I will do a superfast turnaround and leave for the Andaman Islands, sadly with a clear forecast of no wind.  But much paperwork.  They even ask for serial numbers of personal possessions such as sunglasses.  I kid you not…
