Engine troubles

Luba and I head off around some favourite anchorages.  She takes to boats very quickly, especially tiller steering which most people find very tricky at first.  And then an engine alarm goes off.  The batteries are not charging with just 43 hours on the engine.  I have to go back to the marina to investigate.  Luba is not going to sit around while different people argue over the warranty.  So I lose my cruise, crew, cook and cleaner.  And dive into the engine box.

Numerous emails, telephone calls and much frustration we trace the fault to the wiring loom.  A replacement arrives from England.  It takes three hours to fit it but the whole process took two weeks...
