We had a frustrating start as the wind wasn’t anything like any of the forecasts! The wind did settle a bit but the direction has remained very variable although strength has been good, our track is somewhat meandering! The swell from a system way to the north is making it rolly but manageable, the swell should reduce with time!
As always we were happy to see quite a few other boats leave yesterday, we saw about 12 on AIS or vessel finder - it’s always good when we’re not the only ones deciding to leave! Today we have added a few more names of of boats that have appeared on our plotter to the list of boats from yesterday 😁.
