Culebra is a good stopping place, there are 3 small supermarkets - Milka being the better one incorperating a small butchers section, we were also able to do our laundry, get fuel for dinghy and our gas bottles filled. We made some new friends Kate & Doug on Casa Tu, saw Endless summer and Tomskii Kastan but having spent a few days in Ensenada Honda we decided it was time for some clean water to swim in. We headed to Culebrita and found some sand to anchor in. We have fond memories of our last visit here in 2013 when we were with our Australian friends Ian and Wendy from Outsider.

It was nice and peaceful when we anchored so we went for a snorkel and enjoyed being in the water, however, it began to get a bit rolly when some swelll managed to find its way around to us so we decided to move on again. We looked at going to an anchorage on the NE side but when we looked in the bay we could see the swell rolling in and the one monohull there’s mast swaying so we decided to turn around and head back to Culebra where we picked up a mooring in Bahia De Almondova behind a reef, there were only 2 other boats there and it was flat calm.
