Here we go again heading south! Portland to Torquay

We have been anchored in Portland Harbour for the past 2 weeks since we left Weymouth Marina. We are heading down to the Algarve for the winter! Last winter was cold and damp onboard! We promised Innamorata we wouldn’t bring her back to UK when we last set sail in 2017 so we feel compelled to seek a warmer climate again now life is a little more normal again.
At just before 6 am we upped anchor and headed off with friends Lucy and Simon on Falkor a CSY44, we headed round Portland bill with the tide and were soon exposed to the SW wind forecast for the day - not a great start bashing windward in force 4/5, but we have a weather window for heading off across Biscay tomorrow so have no choice!
