We have come to a spot near the start of the Comer Channel across a shallow bank to Long island  - we need a rising tide before we start the 5 mile passage which is about half a meter too shallow for us at low water, it saves us a very long passage around the south side of Long Island. We are heading to Long Island for some Provisions and propane, we hope, although we aren't too sure who will be allowed ashore when we get there! We are anchored about 3 1/2 miles from land in 3 meters of crystal clear turquoise water with amazingly good internet!!
