We only managed to sail for a short wile and had to motor most of the way to Salcombe where we anchored at Starehole Bay just outside the estuary. It's a small cove with a couple of tiny beaches at low water and a large cave, there were a couple of small motor boats there when we arrived and we had a few water-skiers going around the anchorage until fairly late on in the afternoon but by the evening we were the only boat there which was nice and we had a very peaceful night.
