We spent a week anchored in this safe but busy anchorage, took the opportunity to go up to Mahon a few times and meet up with Jules and Tim (Mojito) - friends we first met in 2018 in Martinique, in 2020 during Covid they sailed to Spain and got residency (when we headed to the UK), since then they have bought a property in Mahon and settled there with Mojito in a nearby marina. It was fantastic to catch up with them, see their lovely new home and celebrate Jules Birthday on Mojito with them. They are setting sail East for the summer so our timing was great for a change. 

We also spent time socialising with friends Martyn and Zoe on Sancerre and Mark from Grace Richard and all in all had a good time and could have got stuck there a lot longer but we are keen to move on.
