Wind is now 15-17 knots and we are struggling to keep good speed and direction without our longer pole for the genoa. We still covered 154 miles in last 24 hours which is more than we did most days last time across. we saw a whale again briefly as night fell – it was alongside us for a moment then we didn't see it again. The moon is getting smaller and later to rise so we have darkness until nearly 3 am good for star watching in between the clouds.  Oh, and the sea temp is now 27 C.
