26:47.45N 52:35.86W at 12UTC. We are really suffering from lack of wind having had only 4-8 knots for the past 12 hours, we have managed to keep moving but it’s getting harder and our speed over ground is often below 3 knots, so at this rate it will take us a long time to get through the 450 miles of light winds ahead of us and we may well motor for a while later! Some will be pleased to hear we are trying to fish, not had any luck yet but a cute seabird did find the lure interesting earlier, it kept flying over landing in the water ahead of it and putting its head below the water to look at the lure then watch until it had gone past, I was terrified it might like the look of it so we bought it in for a while till the bird went away.
We also spoke to another boat we first met in the Algarve in 2007 yesterday after listening to herb they came up on the radio, they left Bermuda yesterday bound for the Azores too so hopefully we will meet up there. Its great having 3 on board it means that we get 6 hours off watch in the night to sleep so we are much less tired than when we came across with just the 2 of us.
