First there was too much wind
Then there was too little wind
Then the wind was just right

Anchor up 0640, anchor down 1610

After I posted the en route report I listened to Cairns met broadcast. They were talking about 20-25kts. Yeah, right!
Shortly after that the wind started to come up and we finished off by making 5.5kts most of the time. I nearly pressed on to Mission Bay just round the corner but a mono who anchored off there reported it as being really rolly and they went on to Cairns. That was supposed to be the best anchorage in tradewinds conditions. This is not too bad.

Early start in the morning for Port Douglas. Friday shopping etc etc, then maybe away by Saturday and the relentless pursuit of Calypso who should be nearing Lizard Island. I think it must be something that I said!
