GoogleEarth will probably show us as being on dry land, but trust me, we're not! Now in 'de famous' Anchorage number 7' ( according to the Moorings charter charts) other wise known as Point Mourant (I think). A pleasant, sheltered anchorage (very reminiscent of Poole Harbour) close to two caves that one can dive in. Or at least, one could if one hadn't put one's back out!!! Never mind, it's only pain :)
Managed to get my phone working, although not quite as expected (long story) so now 'PT' can phone home------home, hmm, I am home. OK, I can phone others in their homes! No internet access right now, so for those waiting to be acknowledged as 'facebook friends', sorry, you'll have to wait another couple of days at least.
Slightly encouraging news about the book, after five weeks with a publisher it hasn't been rejected yet. Apparently that's long enough to pass the first hurdle, but numerous remain before acceptance, of course.
Weather is unsettled, but WARM. All going tolerably well, putting to one side the forestay saga (title for a new book? Sounds vaguely familiar :)
