I've made an important culinary discovery. The makers of Bimbo bread (as I've explained before, this is not bread baked by or for Essex girls) also make long-life brioches (chocolate brioches). So, for the time being I've shelved the usual breakfast of fruit/muesli & EasiYo instant yoghurt [better than it sounds] with tea in favour of coffee and a brioche. This was prompted partly by the discovery of the brioches but also by the discovery of a  coffee perculator I'd forgotten I'd got.
I've got a WIFI link at the moment and am listening to Radio 4 at the moment. All gloom & doom on the news, Funnily enough, life seems fine here, anchored off Combarro. I was going to move on a bit, but then I thought 'why?'. This is a sheltered anchorage, the town has plenty of cafes/bars if required and there's a reasonable place to secure the dingy.
Thanks for all the emails, much appreciated and I can access the mailasail address via the satphone if the WIFI link fails. Production of 'Escape to the Rum' part dos continues apace. I feel a bit of judicious editing is now required. Using the Macbook to download  pictures [still & moving] is really easy as is producing a DVD now I've more or less got the hang of it.
Not many other 'foreign flagged' boats about, which is not necessarily a bad thing. It means I spend more time on the Spanish course and then go out and practice it! This part of Galicia is really developing rapidly, there seem to be marinas springing up everywhere. Personally, I still prefer to be at anchor where possible. Apart from the coast benefit, I find it's more fun.
