Had a pleasant lunch with J&R in Bournemouth, then got a lift to the bus station. Arrived with ten minutes to spare.
Despite heavy traffic the bus arrived at Heathrow Terminal Four on time. Customs accepted my VAT reclamation forms without protest, then I went to check in. No problems with weight and no problems having one cabin bag + computer bag. No particular hassle at the security check and I used up the last of my mobile minutes having a long chat with daughter Pauline.
The flight pushed back more or less on time and arrived on time. Food was 'so so' but edible. Got a free shower at Incheon ( although the towel was minute, even for Korean - sized people).
I checked at the transit desk and yes, the flight was on time (1925 Korean time) AND my bag had already been loaded onto the trolley. THIS IS GOING FAR TOO WELL.
Now I happen to know that the baggage system at Incheon was engineered by Helmut, on Mohea. So if my bag doesn't show up in Nadi I'll know who too blame. On the other hand,if it does show up, 'nice one Helmut, German engineering at its best!'
