We Finally Leave Antigua for Montserrat

New picture last night. I have had ear ache from several about the length of Bear's beard in the last couple of weeks - already cut. I realised the longer it got, passing the Captain Birdseye stage to the crusty old man stage, that I was losing the face to which I have become accustomed, so off it came - back to within normal limits, glad you all agree. Last year we had the dodgy goatee and naked look which traumatised some, so this year it was an opposite experiment. Add to the fact Bear is not good at brushing the thing, new habit, what do you expect. Current experiment - hair growth, but if it looks like freshly made candy floss awaiting the stick twizzling, off it will come - fair warning. No plait required but to see if the curly stuff at the rear reappears.

Anyway back to this morning, up I jumped, saw Montserrat and off we went. Heading to a land with an active volcano - Hmmmmm leave it at that

After a week of virtually solid wind to thirty knots - as we look back to Jolly Harbour - only two knots, motoring then

Half an hour out the winds built, up went the main and genoa, engine off, pottering at seven knots. Made a huge change to have a port tack (sails on right). Cracking sail to the north coast

Just as we got round the corner a huge, quick squall, we got soaked. Due to sails in the way, flag ceremony in the cockpit

Our first look at Little Bay, at anchor in a new country, the third visiting yacht

ALL IN ALL DELIGHTED TO BE HERE
FANTASTIC TO BE IN A COUNTRY I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO VISIT
