Before we can leave the islands, we need to get our exit 'Zarpe' from customs, so it was back to Porvenir. On the way we stopped at Lemon Cays for lunch and snorkelling. As our depth gauge is now completely broken as well as the watermaker, we were relying on Suzie Too to guide us towards a suitable area for anchoring. It seems that something is breaking daily at the moment, but rest assured, spares are on the way to Panama - we will have a lot to do there I think!
Lunch was interrupted by the appearance of a Master Mola Maker who brought some beautiful molas. These were by far the best we have seen and very intricate. He had various levels of quality and price, from the 'cruise ship' standard at $20 per panel to the traditional ones at $100 per panel. Having chosen 6 he went away quite happy.

Back in Porvenir,we had to get our papers in order. Small problem though, we arrived at 3.45pm to find that Customs closed at 3.30pm and wouldn't re-open until Monday morning. Suzanne and I turned on the charm and after paying a $20 overtime fee we got everything done - the chap was only sitting outside his office under a tree!
The ARC boats are now all starting to arrive in the San Blas. Hebe, the third Discovery 55 was parked behind us when we woke up in Lemon Cays, so we had a quick chat with them. Once they heard about our depth gauge issues, the offered the use of their spare which was great. Hopefully though, ours will arrive in time!
