It was with mixed feelings that I left Peter and Bob and their respective families aboard Serendipity on Thursday. It is clear from this photo that they too shared my remorse:

And I have now returned home to the UK for  a few weeks. I will be travelling to and from the Canaries from time to time – to put the boat to bed after the families’ cruise and also there are some more things to fix etc.  But we shall not be cruising again in earnest until October.   By then, I hope the boat will be fixed,  the crew refreshed and we will embark on the next stage of our Odyssey.  Watch this space.

Meanwhile, the garden and golf course beckon – and Bob and I are going to learn to scuba dive.  Ooo ---er!
