Late afternoon visit to the Royal Albatross Centre and a guided tour to the lookout. The Albatross facing the camera is not a parent, but a “teenager” who was just visiting.

This pair are also “teenagers” coming up to breeding age, looking as if they may well be pairing ready for next year.

The Royal Albatross is so graceful (except when getting back onto solid ground, which is just a crash landing).

This shows the actual size of the Albatrosses.

On the way back to Portobello Campsite, free camping is prohibited on the peninsula, we saw White Spoonbills. A great day.
