Wednesday, 26/02/2014.  Forecast looks good, so we leave Bequia after a quick shop for more fruit and veg and some very expensive but delicious bread from Doris’.  After a good sail, hard on the wind but just a fetch to the leeward side of the Montezuma Shoal, we motor into Britannia Bay and pick up a mooring, Handy Duck once more coming in very handy.   Mustique looks very lovely, uncrowded, unspoilt and, at the moment, not too rolly.  We pay $200 EC to Berris and go for a walk down the beach to Lagoon Bay and enjoy an evening swim in shallow and murky, but very warm water in Lagoon Bay.  The mosquitos are something else!

Thursday, 27/02/2014.  An action packed day, with a walk to Endeavour Bay, a very good snorkel there, followed by lunch at Basils, with really good Callaloo Soup.

Friday, 28/02/2014.  Today it’s an even longer trek overland to Macaroni Bay and then along the trail to Pasture Bay and Obsidian Bay before cutting back to Britannia Bay for a much needed rest and refreshing swim.

Macaroni, Where the Posh have lunch  Anyone for a Swim, No Thank You

Macaroni Bay where the Posh have lunch and Pasture Bay, where there is no swimming, as if anyone in their right mind might want to!

We did have 2 noisy nights out of three with the swell slapping the flat area under the stern, but it was well worth it, it is such a lovely peaceful place.

Mustique, Britannia Bay on the buoys     Very Unspoilt, Very Peaceful, Mustique

The Caribbean Island with everything on offer.

Tomorrow, we plan to continue South to Canouan to replenish the fresh stores as Mustique requires a deep pocket to buy anything, before going to Tobago Cays and Mayreau.
