If only the winds would be kind to us! We left Isla Mujares in light winds that gradually built to a steady 20 on the beam – perfect.  But as the day wore on into the night the wind increased to more than 30 and came around on the nose – more bashing to windward.  It was an uncomfortable night and we got little sleep, constantly putting in reefs.  By mid afternoon the second day the wind had died away to only seven knots – you just can’t win!  Hope to make landfall tomorrow.
