A bit of a blow and heavy rain descended on Crouesty on Friday. We added diesel and rafted one out. The marina filled up rapidly as boats took shelter and soon we had two more boats outside us. At this point the boat inside of us informed us that on Saturday morning at 0900 he would be leaving to go over to the travel hoist for lifting out!
We had supper at Tom’s villa with Bruno and Vera and then Mark drove Tom’s car back to the marina—Tom cycled over to collect it in the morning.
Having been cast adrift we departed, had a rough departure through the Passage de la Teignouse and decided to go into Belle Isle for shelter. It was nearly as rough in there despite the wind blowing from the west.
Parked off the wall next to a British boat who were most unfriendly.
Wind dropped during the night.
