Quick update that we aim to leave at mid day to sail towards Grenada where we expect to arrive tomorrow morning.  It has been a very busy time getting everything ready after a nine month lay up and Mike, having arrive two weeks ahead of Carol has done the bulk of the work on top of the two weeks he had here on his own in October.  The boat was in good shape but deep down filthy after the onslaught of the summer weather and the amount of grit, oil and general rubbish in the air here.

Tashi Delek has all sorts of new stuff, standing rigging (which has to be changed at the ten year point), outboard, galley worksurface, headliners, habitation batteries and waiting for us in Grenada is a petrol generator among other things.  All thanks to Nuffield Health who employed Carol for six months.  New stuff is great but until it is all tested on the high seas you never quite know what is going to happen next so our run to Grenada should be just the job.  The forecast is for ENE winds 10 – 15 knots most of the way with some 15 – 20 so should be a steady sail with not too much in the way of chop and roll although it will probably seem like it until we get our sea legs back.

All for now, got to get on…..
