We have met up with Duncan and Ria and are now onboard Sea topaz in Fort Sherman Marina, in Shelter Bay near Colon at the North end of the canal.  We will be here for 4  days at least while all the administration to go through the canal is sorted out.  It is the same for us as for a super tanker!  We also need to acquire 20 old tyres to hang down both sides of the yacht to prevent damage as the water surges in to the locks.  It is quite hot and humid with occasional showers at the moment but it is great to be here.
