Very civilised transat just completed, finishing appropriately in Martinique.  

Rougher-than-usual first week,  calmer-than-usual second week, the trip touched the usual extremes of this passage weather-wise.

The crew always help  make each transat different. Although none of the crew had sailed oceans before, the crew had all travelled extensively and included two dinghy sailing instructors, a ski instructor, and the multi-linguist helped a lot, too.
