Windy day often over powered with heavy weatyer jib and 3 reefs in main, often fully dumping the main. Main was dopped and just heavy weatyer jib up, this was fast and boat in control even with steady 34 knts. Just a little more wind and we are on our ear. With wind forecast to get up a bit and bigger wavesdecided on trysail and storm jib up. A little slow initially but with higher winds seems OK sometimes. Normally 3 knots less than just jib, hopefully no dramas overnight, unlike hoisting sails somewhere along the line the sheets flogged a lot and the remote VHF handset went overboard from the charge cradle at one of the wheels.

Went below and because boat was more upright the bilge alarm kept going off, looked under floorboard at aft and the bunk lots of water to be mopped out as bad design of bilges only drain when boat upright. Mopping took my whole off watch up and this blog is later than normal, also cooked meal did not happen but Jelly Babies are great with chocolate biscuits.
