Having sorted out the various maintenance issues on Minka I flew home for a few weeks but returned in early November to sail to Cyprus and attend my Nephew Sam’s first child’s baptism. The sail across was 240nm which took 50 hours. The night passages were strange as there was no moon or stars so it was pitch black and there was no horizon visible at all.

The baptism was a lovely occasion

I was a very proud great uncle but that was nothing compared to the proud Dad……
