Hollinsclough - Is the World Round?
Sun 11 May 2008 20:41

Sunday May 11th

There is blue sky ahead, white rolling cloud over blue sky, just like the Peak District on a summer morning. Sea temperature has not risen over 34, it is scary but we may be getting used to it. With each shower of rain we squeegee the boat down and the salt depletes. We are surprisingly clean again but there is no escaping the muggy humidity.

Our 12 UTC point  01.30.00 N  29.26.00 W is about a hundred miles short of the equator going on one degree north.  That puts us on the equator about five or six in the morning, if anyone wants to get a Hercules out of Brize Norton for a party hat fly by then now is time, please bring ice cream.
